Most of the participants had never done sculpture before, and the others were potters who had worked in clay but didn't have sculpture experience.

I think in the short time we had to create a lifesize portrait from beginning to end, everyone did extremely well.

The great thing was that each person's personal expression and personality came through into their piece.
